Abstract

Allah has made the difference among the scholars of this Ummah a mercy and expansion. There is no doubt that the difference in general is not praiseworthy, but it is permissible in the understanding of texts and interpretation of Verses and Hadiths, and in matters of branches    of sharia in particular, and some non-fundamental principles generally. This difference is vastness and mercy. But such a difference which is due to beliefs and basic principles, and leads to separatism and sectarianism, then this difference is blameworthy and serious, and Allah and his Messenger (Peace be upon Him) warned against it.
