Dr. Israr’s Ahmed Philosophy on Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

Abstract

Dr Israr Ahmed has written many books on Seerat e Tayaba but his writing style is quite different from the traditional seerah writers. His writing is revolving around the unique philosophy of Seerah. He categorized the philosophy of serrah in to two main areas; ilme (imani) aspect and amli (practical) aspect. The first aspect demands from the believers to not only believe Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) as a seal of Prophethood but also love, obey, respect (regard) and follow Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) sunnah in every sphere of their life. While the amli (practical) aspect is pointing out the responsibility of the believers to continue the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Dr Israr Ahmed has described the implementation of Prophet Muhammad’s mission very systematical by classifying it into six steps in the light of seerah Rasool (S.A.W.).
