Martyrdom. A Research Study

Abstract

The word martyr has multiple literal meanings, but the term martyr referred to as for the ones killed in the warfare because of religious purposes.  The virtues and high rank values of martyrdom, ascribed within the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the prophet (PBUH), asserted only for the martyr of Jihad o Qital. However, the rest forms of demise, to whom the Prophet (PBUH) declared as martyrdom, are due to their ranks in hereafter. However, they can never get hold of the same rank as the martyrs of Jihad o Qital hold. The main objective and motive of writing this research article, according to the researcher, is to define Martyrdom, its high rank virtues, kinds and jurisprudential rules in a clear and undoubted manner; so that, readers could understand it easily and clearly.
