A Research Review of The Issue of Lia’an and Eila in The Light of Tafsir Mazhari

Abstract

In this article, in the light of Tafsir-e-Mazhari, two such issues have been examined jurisprudentially which are completely hidden from the eyes of the people so that the Muslim Ummah may be aware of it. The following verses are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an under the heading of Lia'an and the Qur'an. These verses are presented later. Along with the form of Lia'an and the status of witnesses and oaths of Lia'an, the jurisprudential rulings of Lia'an are also mentioned. Then there is the second hidden issue of Eila. Here, first of all, after the lexical and terminological research of Eila, the jurisprudential rulings of Eila are explained along with the background of Eila. Finally, his rulings on the Expiation of the oath of allegiance are stated.
