The Role of Journalism in Streaming Zionist Atrocities on Palestine

Abstract

The Palestine issue has been a major religious, political, ethnic and geographical conflict of the past eight decades among Muslims and Zionists. In the absence of fair international intervention, journalism has been playing a vital role in highlighting Palestinian suffering and shaping global public opinion. Journalism has consistently drawn attention to the Palestinian struggle through frontline reporting, images, and interviews, often at the cost of journalists’ lives. Social media has amplified this struggle from ordinary users to great influencers, employing hashtags, campaigns, and direct footage to expose ground realities, mobilize protests, and strengthen boycott movements. While mainstream Western media often reflects pro-Israel narratives, outlets like Al Jazeera and TRT World, along with human rights organizations, have provided counter-narratives in support of Palestinians. Overall, journalism and digital media have transformed the Palestinian cause into a global discourse, empowering marginalized voices, pressuring international communities, and keeping the struggle for justice alive despite severe challenges. Journalists on mainstream media and common people on social media face their own kind of challenges about supporting the Palestine cause. Despite all the difficulties the voice of humanity keeps raised up and prominent as the journalism keeps intensifying the issue on world level.
