The footnote of Al-Savi on Tafseer Jalalain, Its Method and Style

Abstract

The understanding of the Holy Quran is an important field in Islam for the Muslims. There are many dimensions and sources of the Holy Quran that are called "Uloom-ul-Quran" in the term of Islamic knowledge and learning. Tafseer-ul-Quran is one of the sciences and knowledge of the Holy Quran. So many scholars spared their lives in the field of "Tafseer". Muhammad Ahmad Savi Malki is well known and one of the leading figures a footnote on Tafseer "Al-Jalalain" by Two authers Jalal-u-Din Sayooti and Jalal-u-Din Mahally. This footnote Is in fact an epitome of Ahmad Savi's mentor Muhammad Sulaman Jumal. The Savi's footnote is famous for Islamic Scholars as "Hashyat-ul-Savi, It is the greatest source of seeking different knowledge and sciences. The commodity of verses (Asbab-e-Nuz ool-e-Ayat) Qirat Rhetoric syntax (Nahv) Arabic literature and dictionary ect. The footnote is an argument of Savi's depth in the Islamic Sciences and arts. Footnote by Savi is a great source of completed and wide knowledge.
